Hi, I'm Ronin

I’m a UK-based storyteller, creator and artist passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices and pushing boundaries. I strive to craft powerful narratives that resonate and challenge convention.A recipient of three Faber & Faber writing scholarships, an Arvon grant and a Screenskills bursary, my writing is character-driven and centres around identity, belonging and the minority experience. My passion for storytelling extends beyond fiction to the stage and screen, where I work with several theatres and institutions, including the BFI, to create powerful stories that showcase hidden voices.I've been selected for the BBC Studios Assistant Director scheme for flagship drama, Birmingham Hippodrome’s CRAFT for playwrights, China Plate's The Optimists and Writing WM's Room 204.I'm currently developing several exciting projects, including a gripping book-club novel, a groundbreaking TV pilot, a boiler-room play, a heart-breaking short and a hard-hitting feature film.
